Great Area is meant to feel like Odessa because it comes from Odessa. Cypress trees, lakes, palmettos, cattle, herons, Sandhill cranes, muddy trucks and hot Florida afternoons are part of the identity — not stock-photo decoration.
With 20+ years of hands-on experience, the goal is simple: show up, communicate clearly, take care of the property and leave it better than we found it. We also offer poison-free and glyphosate-free weed-control options with local wildlife, pets and Florida waterways in mind.

Those of us who grew up here have watched a lot of the woods, wetlands, pastures and open spaces that defined this area disappear to large-scale development. We know we’re not the only ones who hate seeing old Florida disappear.
We can’t stop every piece of land from being developed, but we can do our part to preserve and maintain the Florida that remains — protecting wildlife, being mindful of our lakes and waterways, using safer weed-control options, and creating landscapes that belong here instead of trying to replace what makes this area special.
